Defining a Man - 1 Corinthians 16:13–14: "Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all you do be done in love."
In Defining a Man, we unpack what it looks like to be the kind of man God calls us to be. We discover that real masculinity isn't dominance or bravado, but the humility, leadership, and self-sacrifice we see in Jesus. We learn that being watchful means guarding our hearts, protecting those who can't protect themselves, and recognizing the spiritual battle around us. We see that a man's strength is meant for others and comes from Jesus alone, and we explore how powerfully women's words and respect can strengthen the men in their lives. Through the story of Daniel 3, we're challenged to stand firm rather than bow to the subtle idols of our culture, rejecting passivity and following Jesus, who stood firm for us at the cross.
